Muere O'Leary

1854: muere el prócer de la Independencia en Venezuela de origen irlandés Daniel Florencio O’leary. Estuvo en los ejércitos republicanos desde que llega a Venezuela en 1818, fue en vida edecán del Libertador y uno de los que conservó y amplió (buscando cartas, etc) parte de del archivo personal de Bolívar. Sus hijos terminarán legando todos estos documentos al Estado venezolano en tiempos de Guzmán Blanco (caudillo desde 1770 hasta 1888) y se encuentran en Caracas en el llamado “Archivo del Libertador”.
